The High Sheriff's Initiative Fund
The High Sheriff's Initiative encourages the development of projects which work to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour and bring people closer to their communities to create a more cohesive society.
This year we will welcome and prioritise applications supporting prison leavers and prisoner rehabilitation, and projects supporting adult ex-offenders, young offenders or young ex-offenders:
Intervention: Projects working with young people at risk of offending or re-offending in relation to violent crime
Rehabilitation: Projects supporting the transition between prison and an individual's return to the community or supporting people with criminal records living in the community with the aim of reducing re-offending
The Fund is open to new and existing projects.
If your expression of interest is shortlisted your organisation will be asked to be involved in a project visit on Tuesday 15th July 2025.
Groups can apply for a grant of up to £3,000 for their project.
Closing date: 5pm on Monday 16th June 2025
