This grant will support the communities in North Northamptonshire, by providing mums that are most in need with one our starter packs, holding the essentials for the first 3 months of their baby’s life.

United African Association - £3,000

The grant will be used to purchase supermarket vouchers to help families with children in North Northamptonshire that provide cultural foods to people of African and African-Caribbean heritage.

Hope For Families - £882

The grant will be used to supporting and empowering parents, carers and couples through Hope for Families Courses.

This grant will be used to purchase supermarket vouchers to provide assistance to families with children in North Northamptonshire, where there appears to be very little in the way of foodbanks that provide cultural foods to people of African and African-Caribbean heritage.

This grant will be used for therapeutic provision for disadvantaged young people

This grant will be used to purchase reading manuals and coaching training which will allow readers and coaches to work together in developing their reading skills

This grant will be used to purchase a Bag of Character and an IOL Course Accreditation for one staff member

This grant will be used for an art project through a series of workshops with a specialist artist educator, digital guru and inventor for local schools.

This grant will bring together women and girls from Corby Women's Theatre Group and introduce them to young women from Tresham College to explore how women's lives have changed in that time.

This grant will be used to improve health outcomes for older people through Yoga and Keep Fit classes.

Thomas's Fund - £2900

This grant will fund a 16 week pilot, providing music therapy to premature babies on the Neonatal unit at Kettering General and post discharge in the community

The grant will be used to train licensed facilitators to increase capacity for running courses and events focusing on the Handling Anger in the Family course and to cover the salary of the coordinator.

The grant will be used to build a textile-based tree structure to be exhibited in various locations.

Daylight Centre - £3,000

The grant will be used to provide food and drinks at the Centre and to provide rough sleeper parcels.

The grant will be used to fund a non-digital version of their online adventure and resource packs for families without computer and internet access.

The grant will be used to support the introduction of 5 new mapped areas of Xplorer Orienteering sessions in North Northants in Corby (Kingswood & the Boating Lake), Wellingborough (Swanspool Gardens and The Embankment), and Kettering (Avondale Grange.)

The grant will be used to run arts and crafts sessions for families.

The grant will be used to fund a part time Volunteer Coordinator (3 hours per week), the training, volunteer travel expenses and the purchase of an additional laptop.

The grant will be used to buy food raw materials to cook and give away as free hot meals.

The group will use their grant to provide events throughout October and November educating and celebrating black culture and achievements in history.

St. Andrews Short Mat Bowling Club - £3,000

The grant will be used to purchase an electric short mat winding machine to assist with the transportation and deployment of the heavy bowling mats used at the club’s weekly bowling sessions.

Late Developers Photographic Group - £3,000

The group will use their funding to develop their ‘Threads of Life’ project with an interfaith and multicultural group of women who are interested in generating ideas and participating in creative activities.

Eden Park Teenage Parents - £3,000

The group will use their funding to provide a 12 week ‘Freedom for All’ programme to support teenage mothers to develop a healthy relationship with their children.

Daventry Health Rehabilitation Trust - £3,000

Funding will enable the group to continue their seated Tia-Chi sessions and deliver Mindfulness for Health Sessions to increase mobility and improve wellbeing of members.
