Our previous project, Level Up: Yard Lock-In, proved that The Yard can CONNECT with young people whom traditional provision can struggle to reach. Now, Connect. Create. Change. will help them do something with that connection.

Re:Store Northampton - £10,000

To help us maintain a reliable weekly service for Growbaby, respond promptly to referrals and strengthen the relationship-based support surrounding the provision of practical essentials.

Free 2 Talk CIC - £9,866

To fund 36 weeks of one-to-one/small-group mentoring support within weekly open-access youth groups for young people aged 12–18 in three underserved Northampton communities: Bellinge, Blackthorn and Kings Heath.

United African Association - £10,000

To continue providing food parcels to people facing food poverty.

The Lowdown - £9,955

To provide 181 one-to-one counselling support sessions for approximately 26 young adults aged 19-25 in Northampton and the surrounding areas.

Springs Family Centre - £9,988

This grant would fund a continuation of our community based youth hub and music recording studio.

Volunteer Action - £8,433

The continuation of this grant will enable Volunteer Action to retain our Volunteer Co-ordinator, a role that has become essential to the successful delivery and growth of our services to provide support to the over 65 years olds in a rurally isolated location and those who are disabled within the community also.

SNVB - £9,990

This grant will enable us to continue operating the Daventry NextGen Hub, our weekly, youth-led programme supporting young people aged 16–25 across Daventry and surrounding areas.

Growing Together Northampton - £10,000

To support the development and expansion of our current community outreach programme in Blackthorn.

Performing Rooms - £8650

To expand our creative intervention programme for vulnerable young people aged 12–25. This application seeks support for both project costs and core funding to sustain delivery.

Home-Start Wellingborough & District - £8864

To continue to run our weekly peer/play group WISH-Well-being, Isolation, Self-esteem and Health. Along with tackling these issues, our group aims to continue increasing confidence and independence of the families we support.

The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation - £10,000

We are seeking funding to employ a Doorstep Buddies Coordinator, who would work 13 hours per week. This funded member of staff would provide dedicated and much-needed oversight of our existing Doorstep Buddies programme

Care & Repair Northamptonshire - £4400

Project Home Wellbeing is a continuation of ongoing work and will provide support to vulnerable householders living across Northamptonshire, excluding Northampton, by providing a combination of information, onward referral, home safety assessments and a comprehensive range of practical home repairs and improvements.

Serve Rushden - £9764

The Ron Manning Day Centre in Higham Ferris currently has limited opening times, opening only Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If successful we will use the award to increase and expand the services and availability of the centre to provide improved services and availability to the community.

The Autumn Centre - £8772

Autumn Orchards- A research based project which aims to use education and training based interventions to slow the progression of dementia both before and after initial diagnosis.
