January 2023

Community Court Yard - £9,000

The grant will be used to provide an opportunity for young people who have lived experience of poverty/the cost of living crisis to have a voice and to share their story, creating a campaign that highlights and addresses their needs.

Northampton Youth Summit - £3,560.65

The grant will support youth empowerment and support young people to develop leadership skills. They will bring this learning together at an annual youth-led youth conference attended by youth groups and school groups.

Northamptonshire Carers - £9,959.70

The grant will establish a Young Carers Steering Group which will give young carers the opportunity to come together to co-produce a video which will be used to raise awareness at school assemblies and across social media. 

The Lowdown - £6,760

The grant will bring together attendees from our LGBTQ+ Youth groups into a volunteer steering group to propose, plan and implement activities for others in our Out There Groups. This will include a residential, fundraising activities, theatre trip and inclusion/participation in Northampton Pride.

Northampton Film Festival Ltd. - £9,262

The grant will support the recruitment of Young Ambassadors who will devise activity for their community (aimed at other young people) around the NFF Festival period in May and June 2023.

Springs Family Centre - £9,234.40

The grant will support work with young people to draw up their vision for the area they live in and present that in various formats, so their voices are heard (including speaking at meetings, paper leaflets and a recorded rap).

Support Northamptonshire - £9,978

The grant will be used for sessions that will provide a safe space for young LGBTQ+ people of colour to connect and explore their identities as a collective and on an individual basis. From these sessions three social action projects will be co-produced and developed by the participants: a podcast, an art exhibition and a ball.

Free 2 Talk CIC - £9,752

The grant will be used for young leaders to raise social issues, and for a campaign to communicate young people's experiences of adults under the influence of alcohol or substances, developing a story board and creating video communication on involving children and young people.

NAYC - £7,436 from the #iWill Fund

The grant will be used to fund a Bite-Size wellbeing project.

January 2021

Silhouette Youth - £5,000 from the #iwill Fund

The grant will be used to fund the Silhouette Ambassador's programme.

June 2020

Friends of N Live Radio - £4,900

The grant will be used to launch a youth radio training group.

Community Court Yard - £4,500

The grant will be used to support a multi-channel project to support young people.

Delapre Abbey Preservation Trust - £5,000 

The grant will be used to empower young people to create a programme of work culminating in an event that promotes heritage and wellbeing for the local community.

HD Media CIC - £5,000 

The grant will be used to create a series of Corby Arts Podcasts.

Inspiration FM - £4,775 

The grant will be used to train young people who to a co-ordinate a project.

Looking Glass Arts Heritage Ltd. - £4,993.97 

The grant will be used to set up a digital radio station based in the historic 'Hazelrigg House.'

NN Contemporary Art - £4,910 

The grant will be used to design and lead a eries of creative workshops.

The Happy You Project - £5,000 

The grant will be used to develop a programme to help students create their own 'good news' community magazine.

The Lowdown - £4,830

The grant will be used to deliver a mentoring system where young people are questioning their identity.

Warts and All Thetre - £5,000 

The grant will be used to deliver the Young Artists Festival 2021 in Wellingborough.

EasyRider Activity Club - £1,000

The grant will be used to cover bicycle courses.

Family Support Link - £1,925 

The grant will be ued to engage young people on an emerging leaders programme.

June 2018

Northampton Bangladeshi Association – £2,955 from the #iwill fund
The funding will provide up to 50 young people aged 13-18 with opportunities to participate in photography programmes and workshops.

May 2018

Writing East Midlands CIC - £5,000
The funding will enable the group to run two regular creative writing workshops for 9-16 year olds at Wellingborough Library and Kingswood Community Centre, Corby.

April 2018

C2C Social Action - £4, 969
The funding will enable the group to run their Hype+ project for young people who show an interest in developing their skills and want to learn about food safety and catering & hospitality.


Community Court Yard - £4,500
The group will use their grant to fund their ‘I hear you’ project providing an opportunity for young people to have a voice and to share their story about what it means to be one of the 8,400 young people who live in poverty in Northampton.

January 2018

Fermynwoods Arts - £5,000
The grant will enable the group to deliver the Greenpower Formula 24 challenge, involving young people working with artists and engineering professionals to design, build and race sustainable energy powered cars against an international field, held annually at Rockingham Speedway, Corby.

Picture the Difference CIC - £4,898
The grant will be used to produce two professional films exploring the issues around mental health.

Q Space - £5,000
The group will use their funding to develop a support group which provides opportunities for LGBTQ young people to campaign on subjects close to their hearts.

November 2017

Queen’s Cross Connect - £5,000 
The grant will fund the group’s WHEW! (Women helping to empower women) project, a youth-led community initiative to link with Northampton High School's 140th Anniversary.

Springs Family Centre - £5,000
The grant will be used to recruit a trained football coach and a recording studio technician. Young people will be trained and supported to arrange and run a five a side tournament and a live performance concert. 

Youth Works Corby and Kettering Community Interest Company - £4,507 
The fund will enable the group to run an after-school ‘rebike drop-in project’ where young people will be trained in bike maintenance, including the importance of health and safety and safe use of tools. 

June 2017

Bellinge Community House  - £5,000 
The Centre will use their funding to develop a weekly Bellinge Community Youth Group.

April 2017

Free 2 Talk CIC- £4,680 
The grant will be used to develop their Young Once project supporting young people to develop their personal, social and leadership skills.

The Lowdown - £5,000 
The group will use their funding to put on a LGBTQ enrichment programme.
