October 2022

Royal & Derngate - £3,000

The grant will be used to support up to eight young refugees aged 14–22 years, to engage in a range of cultural experiences and activities at Royal & Derngate

Everyday English - £3,000

The grant will be spent funding staff and room hire to deliver a blended series of face to face and online conversation cafés

Northamptonshire Rights and Equality Council - £3,000

The grant will be used to increase immigration support hours and aid for migrants in Northamptonshire

August 2022

United African Association - £2,936

The grant will be used to fund African immigration support services

July 2022

Renew 169 Wellbeing Café - £3,000

The grant will be used to support refugees relocating to Towcester and the surrounding area. The grant will be spent on a support worker to provide appropriate support and/or activities based on the refugee's self-identified needs

Ability Northants - £2,489.12

The grant will be used to transport 30+ Ukrainian families that are based across Northamptonshire to accommodate their needs and enable them to integrate with the local community until they become transport independent

Homestart Northampton - £3,000

The grant will be used to engage a Ukrainian-focused Family Support Worker for 12 hours a week

January 2022

Northampton Town of Sanctuary - £2,922.12

The grant will be used to purchase twelve laptops, software and two mobile wifi devices which allow users to be able to access training and other opportunities. 

Northamptonshire Rights and Equality Council - £2,949

The grant will be used to provide supermarket vouchers, and where appropriate, mobile phone vouchers. One to one discussions will take place with migrants to idenify any support needs that can be addressed through signposting and/or referral to other agencies. 

United African Association - £3,000

The grant will be used to buy African food items to supply the many families the organisation supports.

Victoria Centre - £3,000

The grant will cover the costs of trained staff spending time with refugees to meet the specified needs.
