Victoria has been the Chief Executive of Northamptonshire Community Foundation since 2007. Tasked with building the endowment and increasing the grant giving to communities in Northamptonshire, the foundation has seen substantial growth during this time from £400k to £20,000,000 as at 31.03.2021.
Prior to her role as CEO at the Foundation, Victoria was the Director of Marketing and Fund Development at MK Community Foundation.
Victoria was born and grew up in County Durham and had a long career in local newspapers developing newspaper in education initiatives working with disadvantaged communities and raising substantial funds across the North East of England.
Victoria has a passion for theatre, she still treads the boards locally in plays and musicals and is a Director of White Cobra Theatre Company. Victoria was a trustee and Vice Chair of The Royal and Derngate Theatres, Northampton for 12 years until her retirement in January 2021.
Victoria was appointed Vice Chair of the national board of UK Community Foundations in November 2018, having served as a trustee on the board from 2014 until her retirement in 2020. Victoria remains a member of the UK Community Foundation Nominations Committee.
She is currently on the board of the VCSE Assembly for Northamptonshire.
In 2016 she was honoured to be appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant of Northamptonshire.
Victoria is married and lives in Weedon Bec, Northamptonshire. She has three sons, two grandchildren and two Labradors; Tallulah and Nellie, who are the perfect office dogs.
