Rachel McGrath

Rachel has over 18 years of experience of working within the community foundation movement at an international, national and local level. In her career as a charitable professional she places an importance of creating and sustaining relationships with people from all walks of life helping to ensure the journey of generosity and the building of civil society is a mutually nourishing and rewarding one.

Rachel is currently the CEO of Northamptonshire Community Foundation. She has also previously worked for the University of Leicester co-designing and tutoring on a Foundation Degree in Managing Voluntary and Community Organisations. In her spare time she is a columnist for a local newspaper in Northamptonshire writing about community and social issues and campaigns on local concerns such as food poverty.Rachel has an enthusiastic interest in running and regularly takes part in runs and treks to help raise funds for charity. She is also a donor for Medecins Sans Frontieres and a member of the Natural History Museum.
