Pacesetter Training CIC has been awarded £530 by Northamptonshire Community Foundation though the Winwick Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund.
Pacesetter Training CIC delivers a variety of sports coaching and wellbeing programmes working with Primary Schools across the County. The group’s aim is to get more children active and have a variety of sports on offer.
Nick Schanschieff, Director of Pacesetter Training CIC said “A big thank you for the contribution from the Northamptonshire Community Foundation in supporting this Hockey Club. It will provide sporting opportunities for children in the area, who may otherwise not take part in sport at weekends whilst promoting and introducing the game of hockey. Thanks also to the support of Guilsborough Primary School and being able to use their great facilities.
“We had support in writing from the local community including MP Chris Heaton-Harris, local PCSO Jo Wright, local Reverend Chris Peck, Simon Caldwell Chair of Governors at the Primary School and Ant Raisbury of Welford Hockey Club, who recognised the value of this project. We can’t wait to get started.”
