April 2018

Irchester Bowling Club - £5,000 from Margaret Giffen fund
The funding will be used to purchase an Electrowind Mat Rolling Machine for the club.

Kettering Air Cadets - £5,000 from the  Margaret Giffen fund
The group will purchase a new minibus with their grant to transport both cadets and equipment when attending events.

Picture the Difference -£4, 818 from the Margaret Giffen fund
The group will use their grant to fund the Picture the Difference Tea Dance project to build the practical, creative and employability skills for future employment opportunities.

Burton Latimer Town Cricket Club - £5,000 from the Burton Wold Wind Farm fund
The grant will enable the club to purchase new practice cricket nets.

Corby Hockey Club - £3, 235 from the Margaret Giffen fund
The club will use their grant to provide Hockey training for children and young people aged 6 – 16 years old.

Greens Norton Junior Children’s Choir - £3, 782 from the David Laing Family fund
The grant will be used to set up a junior children’s choir in Greens Norton to make singing lessons available to all junior children, regardless of family background or financial circumstances.

Wappenham Village Hall Committee - £3,000 from Community First
The grant will be used to replace the broken glass windows in the village hall.

January 2018

Yardley Hastings Arts Collective - £4,150 from the Community First Fund
The group will use their funding to introduce a new sculpturing arts activity for all age groups in the community.

November 2017

Desborough Town Cricket Club - £5,000 from Margaret Giffen Community Fund 
The grant will assist with the overall cost of a clubhouse extension for the Cricket Club

October 2017

Blackthorn Good Neighbours - £4,800 from the Genesis Housing Fund
The group will use their grant to offer a range of activities and events for families to build confidence and skills in people living in the B
lackthorn area.

Care and Repair (Northamptonshire) Ltd - £4,920 from St Giles Charitable Trust
The group will use their funding to continue their Warm at Home service across Northamptonshire, keeping vulnerable people safe and warm in their homes during the winter months.

September 2017

Dostiyo Asian Women & Girls Organisation - £4,400 from St Giles Charitable Trust
The grant awarded will enable the organisation to run a 12-week specialised Counselling skills course at their centre helping women to return to education in an informal and enjoyable fashion.

Manna House Trust - £5,000 from St Giles Charitable Trust
The trust would like to use their grant to offer more counselling sessions to clients which will reduce the current waiting list.

May 2017

Serve Rushden - £4,236 Margaret Giffen Fund
The group will use their grant to fund a ‘Music to Movement project’ supporting the elderly. 

Wilby Riding for the Disabled Trust - £5,000 David Laing Family Fund 
The grant awarded will allow the group to continue their project supporting disabled horse riders.

Phoenix Employability and Disability Support Services C.I.C - £10,000 from Enterprise Solutions Northamptonshire Fund
The grant will be used to provide employability based activities at the project.

August 2016

Rushden Town Cricket Club - £3,300 from Constance Travis Endowment Fund
The grant will be used to purchase a new mower.

Royal and Derngate - £5,000 from Compton Fund for Arts, Culture and Heritage
The grant will be used to provide a weekend of arts and science events created by, for and with the local people.


The Film Lab - £5,000 from Compton Fund for Arts, Culture and Heritage
The grant will be used to create a community film production over a period of five months.

May 2016

Looking Glass Theatre - £5,394 from Compton Fund for Arts, Culture and Heritage and NCC Wellbeing Fund
The grant will be used to fund a theatre project which includes an outdoor performance of Wind in the Willows in St. Peter's Church Northampton and an exhibition in Hazelrigg House.

Blackthorn Good Neighbours - £4,979 from St Giles Charity and Fair Deal for Kids Fund
The grant will be used to fund a project that gives children the chance to develop healthy eating habits, both nutritionally and socially.

Kings Heath Boxing Club £3,960 from Constance Travis Endowment Fund
The grant will go towards the cost of putting on a Boxing Gala evening in order to raise funds for the club.

The grant will be used to support a ground-breaking performance during the Oundle International Festival 2016.

Spring Boroughs Neighbourhood Forum - £3,750 Fair Deal for Kids Fund
The grant will be used to run 2 events and provide 4 days of activities.

March 2016

Friends of Abington Park - £5,000 from NCC Small Grants
The grant will be used to continue The Hub project in Brackley.

Rockin' Roadrunner - £4,000 from St Giles Charitable Trust
The grant will be used to run the annual Rockin’ Roadrunner festival.


February 2016


Saheli Women’s Group - £4,875 from NCC Small Grants
The grant will be used to fund a project which will open access to Asian Women (
majority who are widowed, single and informal carers of their spouse or children) and give them the opportunity to participate in structured wellbeing activities.

 

Castle Fields Community Group - £4,985 from NCC Small Grants
The grant will be used to reach out to local community groups and invite them to attend writing/performing workshops.

November 2015

 

Daventry Volunteer Centre - £5,000
The grant will be used to continue the popular Time Bank skill exchange scheme for another year, the scheme will be self-sustaining by the end of 2016.

Live at Home Northampton - £5,000 from St Giles Trust
They will continue their supportive provision for local elderly people.

 

Manna House Counselling Service - £5,000 from St Giles Trust
The grant will allow the service to provide counselling to those who would otherwise be excluded due to the cost.

October 2015

Northampton Gymnastics Academy - £5,000
The gymnastics club will purchase a new carbon fibre rodded tumble track.

Tools for Self Reliance - £4,118
The group will purchase a tent as well as display boards, which will aid their fundraising on an ongoing basis.
