You can choose the goal and direction of your philanthropy and charitable donations, and we will support you to achieve it all.

The £1 for £2 match, is available on a first-come first-served basis, and it aims to encourage new donors to establish and endowment fund, helping grassroots giving by setting up a named fund or support existing funds and better serve our communities for generations to come.

Who can receive the two million pound match?

The match is eligible to individuals, families, businesses and charitable trusts who wish to establish and endowment fund or build on an existing endowment fund at the Community Foundation.

How to give

The Constance Travis Charitable Trust has generously made match funds of up to £2 million available to benefit all communities in Northamptonshire and these funds are only available through the Community Foundation.

The match scheme will finish on 31st July 2020 (or when the challenge has been completed). Gifts of cash, shares and trust transfers are eligible for match funding and can attract Gift Aid for UK tax payers.

Why endowment?

An endowment fund is invested in perpetuity and the income gained every year on the investment can then be used for charitable grant-making for the benefit of Northamptonshire’s communities. This will be distributed to meet local need based on the Donor’s interests and passions and will carry the Donor’s name (if they wish).  The Constance Travis Endowment Match Challenge enables us to support future generations of local community projects, and ultimately contributing towards the well-being and prosperity of the people in County for generations to come.
