Matthew is the Programmes Officer at Northamptonshire Community Foundation and prior to this was the Community Development Officer at Voluntary Impact Northamptonshire.
Matthew’s career to date has included 10 years working in HIV and Sexual Health in Leeds and as a graphic artist providing back up information for the Community Radio Team in Nottingham, when ‘cut & paste’ involved scissors and a Pritt Stick.
Matthew has a degree in Zoology and Psychology and his interests include photography, natural history, art, cinema and travel.
In 2016 Matthew was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s 90th Birthday Honours for ‘Services to LGBT Equality.
To relax Matthew enjoys spending time with, and ideally travelling with, his husband Scott and dog Cooper.
