Example constitution and guide
All groups applying to the Foundation must be independently and locally constituted. If you do not have a constitution please review this guide, feel free to contact us if you need further advice or guidance. The brief points to remember are:
If your project involves working with children, you must have an up to date child protection policy adopted by your management committee. If you do not have one please view this example as a guide to creating your own.
If your project involves working with vulnerable adults, you must have an up to date vulnerable persons policy adopted by your management committee. If you do not have one please view this example as a guide to creating your own.
If your group is involved with sporting activities, please review this guide to good practice.
Guidelines for paying volunteer expenses
If your project involves reimbursing volunteers for expenses, please review this guide to good practice. If you provide volunteers with money incorrectly, you could be end up liable for large amounts of money at a later date.
