This year, we’re applying to take part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge, the UK’s biggest online match funding campaign. We’re hoping to raise vital funds for our annual Surviving Winter appeal.
As part of our application, we are asking all our supporters to make promises of funding, called ‘pledges’ which will be used as match funds to double online donations made to our Surviving Winter Appeal during the campaign. You would be required to fulfill this pledge, after the campaign finishes on 2nd December (and before 13th January 2017) depending on how successful we are at using up these matching funds.
We are aiming to raise a total of £2,500 in pledges to take part in the Christmas Challenge. Would you consider making a pledge of £100 to help us reach our target?
If you would be willing to make a pledge to us, you can do so by completing this online form by the deadline of 5pm, Wednesday 31st August.
Earlier this year we caught up with Mr Fletton, a tenant of Spire Homes and a beneficiary of a Surviving Winter grant. Thanks to your support Mr Fletton's able to attend lunch groups and activities provided by Serve Rushden and is able to keep track of his fuel costs due to energy saving schemes introduced by Spire Homes.
