Healthy Communities, Healthy Future

Published - Friday, 10 July, 2015

Health and wellbeing affects us all, so health and well being should involve us all.

Health service providers have a duty to empower people to become more involved in their own healthcare, and in how services are delivered. This duty also presents a great opportunity, by involving patients and the public in your work and decisions, healthcare becomes more responsive to local needs, and people are empowered to take greater responsibility for their health.

The conference will provide an opportunity to look at health and wellbeing in our county and beyond with a focus on how the voluntary sector can work with partners to deliver change at a local level.

You can look forward to:

  • National and local speakers who will inspire and motivate you and your organisation
  • Debates and discussions on the key issues facing the voluntary sector
  • An extensive marketplace offering you advice, support and expertise to help you and your organisation thrive
  • Opportunities to ask the panel questions that matter to you
  • Netowrking and exchanging of ideas with local voluntary sector professionals

Date:  Tuesday 21 July 2015, 09:45 to 15:30 (Registration from 09:00)

Venue: Kettering Conference Centre
